I have an issue with using quotes within a blog post.  Quotes don't actually prove anything- although they're often used that way. Too many times I've seen an argument for or against something followed by a quote as if it's supposed to prove the point. Quotes are usually just broad generalizations without any real support to prove them, but the name attached to it legitimizes the generalization. Accepting the quote as truth because of the name is just putting blind faith in the person attached to the quote and not actually evaluating what is being said. Quotes are usually just style- they sound good but don't actually add anything concrete. They should stick to the top of the post, and only be used to get you to think about the topic.
